Caylin Hauptmann will soon be higher on draft lists after another strong performance against South Alabama. Great size for LT at the next level, 6-4, 312 lbs.

Hauptmann never seemed to be off balance or out of position the entire game, against a variety of looks and defenders. Does a very nice job of firing off the ball, using a strong slide step, keeping the defender square to him, with strong hands on the inside.

Was over powering the entire game against at times, smaller DE's. Showed nice ability in both running and passing plays, of being able to lock defenders up and push them up field or away from the RB's running lanes.

He can be prone to holding calls at times during games. Though that is to be expected with his aggressive and tough hands inside.

Overall, Hauptmann has great size, blocking skills, QAB and coordination to make it at the next level as a LT. His technique and foot work allow him to always be in great position against on coming defenders. Driving them up field, and out from his QB.
