Name: Anthony Amos
School: MTSU
Position: WR
Game: South Alabama
Final Game Grade: 6.48
Amos came into this game as one of the Sun Belt Conference's top receivers. With 63 receptions, 929 yards and nine TD's. Not the biggest wide receiver at 5-11, 190 lbs. Though his positioning and hands make up for that size difference.
He does a very nice job of using his hands to pick the ball out of the area very naturally/easily. No catch looks as though he is fighting to bring the ball in. Very quick and agile wide receiver. Good feet at LOS, shaking the CB more than once at the snap to gain a step easily. YAC's are high on nearly every catch.
Amos does at times, tip his routes a little much coming off the line. Tending to float to the outside when he does this. Needs to clean that up as all routes should look the exact same through the first five yards.
MTSU lines him every where on the field. Instincts are very good, as his read and reaction to how the defender is covering him as well. Amos should get a quite a few looks from the NFL with his speed, hands and versatility.
